The Murrumbidgee CMA was established in mid 2004 to ensure local people could have their say in natural resource management.

The Murrumbidgee CMA works in partnership with the community, Landcare, Traditional Owners, Government and local industry in implementing natural resource investment in the Murrumbidgee catchment.

Key areas of investment are land, water, biodiversity and community.

The Murrumbidgee CMA greatly values the committment from people in the catchment in contracting to a property vegetation plan or management agreement.
